Hearts! 2 App Reviews
I prefer this game in its previous edition: The player gets to create those they’re playing against. The game is slower in that it stalls out when some cards are going to be played. I have had it freeze many times. For support you’re sent to a forum where the same problem has been brought up with no solution offered. That’s not support. A disappointment.
Nice range of choices of different deck styles and whether to play with graphics of opponents. It would be fun to have choices of opponent graphics and names. Sometimes opponents make plays where the strategy doesn’t appear logical, but maybe it’s just me. Overall, an enjoyable card game.
It would be even better if it moved a little faster - and it would be nice to be able to reset the statistics. (I like to keep track by the month.) Oh! And it would be fun to be able to name the players. it’s a geat game, though.

I wish I could name the players for more intimate interaction. Character graphics need variety. We are not all millenniums.
Seems to “disconnect” from internet more than is acceptable. Would like an index showing the origin of flags. The players are courteous..no bad language or angry outbursts.

i enjoy this version as i can play against the computer without getting to join a live game, its good to have that option.
i paid $10 for this app and it is riddled with problems when playing against other people . will not let some people create games , would’nt let me join most games . But this would be a great app if they would just fix it , and i dont know why they don’t
Love this game. I only play against the computer, as Ive found no one waiting online to play. But its still great, and I like how you can set your own options, even how long the game lasts! Highly recommend.
A significant change in the newest version (2.76) has basically destroyed this game. On virtually every hand, one of the AI players tries to shoot the moon. They are successful about half the time. In a recent game, the AI’s shot the moon in five of six consecutive hands. Part of the problem is that when one of them is trying to shoot, the other AI players will not take a trick to stop the attempt even though they often have the cards to do so. This change has taken what was once a good game and turned it into one that is totally predictable and no longer enjoyable.
This game worked fairly well until there was an upgrade. Then it simply would not load. And, it is absolutely impossible to get any advice or relief from the maker: GrassGames provides no way of contacting tech support nor will it answer e-mail complaints or questions. Clearly this company is not interested in supporting its customers. So do not support this company. And do not buy this product which is not likely to work on your computer.
I don’t play it online, but the single player mode is fun for me. The AI’s are challenging enough that I don’t always win. They seem to play well. I’ve not seen evidence of poor play by the computer that others elude to. The AI’s will take heart tricks to stop each other (and you) from shooting the moon. Just because I gave it 5 stars doesn’t mean it can’t get better. It can be hard to see the cards that players 2 and 4 collected because the results are obsucred by a semi-transparent window on which the cumulative results is displayed. When playing with the Jack of Diamonds the cumulative score doesn’t display negative numbers, which can make it hard to figure who took the Jack. I hope you keep tweaking this great app!
